DESCRIPTION:There are two great opportunities coming up through the Whitehorse Chamber of Commerce that will be of interest to artists and cultural tourism entrepreneurs.  The courses will take place over 3 group sessions (Feb. 11\, 12\, & 26\, 2016)\, plus an individual coaching session with the consultant. Held 8:30am-12pm at the Gold Rush Inn in Whitehorse. \nBDC Financial Management Course – Covers topics including: important financial concepts\, good bookkeeping practices\, interpreting financial statements\, business strategy & financial position\, the role of strategy\, the role of budgeting\, accounting tools available for the entrepreneur\, and more. \nMarketing for Small Businesses Workshop Series – Delivered by Aasman Brand Communications – Focuses on marketing/communications and social media for your business \nThe Whitehorse Chamber of Commerce is able to cover 90% of the costs for both the BDC and Aasman workshops.
